Marble is usually cheaper than quartz because it stains much easier and chips far easier. Quartz is nearly impossible to break, but marble breaks easily. If you are deciding between the two, we recommend quartz. Quartz is about 10% or so more than marble, but the quality and durability make it a better long-term value.
