Quartz is a human-engineered stone that is designed to last more than a lifetime. It holds its value very well. As long as it is not scorched deep by anything more than 425-500 degrees or intentionally broken using force with something like a sledgehammer, your quartz may last forever.
What Is The Advantage Of Quartz Over Granite?
Quartz is easier to keep clean, and you don’t have to worry about the sealant. With granite, it has little tiny micropores that can get stained a bit easier than quartz, and granite does break a little easier than quartz; however, granite can withstand any kind of heat while quartz can only withstand about up to 425 degrees before you run the risk of it becoming scorched. Light scorch marks on quartz can be smoothed out, but heavy scorch marks on quartz will not be able to be removed.

There are about 50+ different brands of quartz. The top 3 we would probably say are Metro, Cambria, and Silestone. There are many brands, but there is only one “type” of quartz. It is only engineered one way. There are only a few facilities/manufactures in the world making quartz stone, and they all do it the same way.

Do Quartz Countertops Crack Easily?
It is extremely difficult to crack a quartz countertop. You almost have to be intentionally trying to break the quartz with a sledgehammer in order to cause any kind of crack or damage to it.

About Mulvane, KS
Mulvane was laid out in 1879 at the junction of five Santa Fe rail lines. It is named for Joab R. Mulvane, a railroad official who was instrumental in bringing the Atchison, Topeka, and Santa Fe Railroad to Mulvane.
Mulvane’s Main Street follows part of the Sedgwick and Sumner county lines, and the town center is about five miles west of the spot where Sedgwick, Sumner, Butler and Cowley counties meet.
