Thankfully, quartz does not stain easily. It’s pretty resistant to staining. This is due to the non-porous nature of quartz stone. It doesn’t absorb spills or stains quickly. That’s not to say it’s impossible to have discoloration in your quartz countertops. Prolonged exposure to highly acidic liquids in particular, will discolor the countertop. The best practice is to wipe off the countertops with a microfiber towel, a solution of water, and a little dish soap before the spills have time to dry.
