Can You Use Antibacterial Wipes On Granite?

It’s not a great idea. Most antibacterial wipes contain citric acid or other highly acidic substances. These harsh chemicals will break down or damage the sealant on the stone. And overtime this will cause bacteria to grow in the stone and damage the stone’s look. Generally, granite countertops are resistant to bacteria, but if you’re still looking to disinfect you’ll want to use isopropyl alcohol (70%) on the surface of the countertop.
